Moments of Love — Ying Huang Recital
Shanghai Symphony Hall · November 13, 2020

Overview
Soprano Ying Huang, celebrated for her lyrical expressivity and refined artistry, presented the recital Moments of Love at the Shanghai Symphony Hall in November 2020.
This concert was born out of a year that challenged the world — a time when love and compassion became more precious than ever. Through her radiant voice and heartfelt interpretation, Ying Huang sought to share warmth, tenderness, and hope — weaving together French mélodies and Chinese art songs into a poetic dialogue across cultures.
The first half of the recital explored French art songs, rich in sensual lyricism and elegant charm; the second half turned toward Chinese poetry and romantic sentiment, revealing the unique grace and emotional subtlety of Eastern musical expression. Together they form a bridge between two civilizations — resonating through the shared language of love.
“During the pandemic, we all felt the power and value of love.
I wanted to dedicate this program — my favorite art songs from China and France — to everyone, as a reminder of the beauty that love brings.”
Ying Huang
