Chuan Wang Recital
Tenor Chuan Wang is the first Chinese operatic tenor to appear as a principal role at Teatro alla Scala in Milan. A signed artist of Trucco Management (Europe) and the SIAA Foundation (Liechtenstein), he graduated from the Xinghai Conservatory of Music and the Milan Conservatory “Giuseppe Verdi.”
In the 2025/26 season, Wang will appear in leading roles across major opera houses:
- Rossini’s La Cenerentola at Teatro alla Scala
- Rossini’s cantata Francesco I at Teatro di San Carlo
- Verdi’s Rigoletto and Rossini’s Il barbiere di Siviglia at the National Opera of North Macedonia
- Puccini’s Turandot at the Shaanxi Grand Theatre, China
- Rossini’s Il barbiere di Siviglia (Chinese version) at the Henan Arts Center, China
- Rossini’s Petite messe solennelle at Teatro Verdi di Trieste
- Rossini’s L’italiana in Algeri at the Teatro Coccia di Novara and Teatro Lirico di Sassari
- Britten’s Serenade for Tenor, Horn and Strings with the Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra
- Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte at the National Centre for the Performing Arts, Beijing

Bel Canto Era
Tenor Chuan Wang, the first Chinese operatic tenor to appear as a principal role at Teatro alla Scala, presents a program of monumental vocal masterworks, ranging from Rossini’s sacred works to Orff’s choral classic. His artistry brings both lyrical elegance and dramatic power to some of the greatest repertoire of the bel canto and beyond.
