Artist Introduction
The Stradivari Quartet — the only quartet in the world to perform on four Stradivari instruments — was founded in 2007 and is based in Zurich, Switzerland. Led by Chinese violinist Xiaoming Wang, the ensemble enjoys an active international presence, performing at major venues and festivals worldwide.
With deep musicality and artistry, the quartet creates a unique dialogue between composers, performers, and rare historic instruments, bringing to life timeless stories through string music.

Complete Schubert Chamber Music Series
Overview
In November 2018, Stradivari Quartet, presented by Major Music, returned to China with an ambitious Complete Schubert chamber series, highlighted by the world premiere of Schubert’s “Unfinished” String Quartet, D.103. Spanning six cities and seven concerts over 13 days, the tour also featured educational activities including master classes and instrument showcases.

Overview
From October to December 2017, Stradivari Quartet celebrated its 10th anniversary with a commemorative Beethoven Cycle China Tour presented by Major Music. As the world’s only quartet performing on four rare Stradivari instruments, the ensemble honored Beethoven’s 190th anniversary through complete string quartet works, marking a decade of distinguished artistry. The tour also featured master classes and rare instrument showcases.
