Overview
The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center (CMS), one of the world’s premier chamber music institutions, is a resident organization of New York’s Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, performing regularly at Alice Tully Hall. Acclaimed by The Wall Street Journal as “a shining star in the musical sky,” CMS advances the art of chamber music through performance, education, recording, and broadcast.
In December 2017, co-presented by Major Music and Siqing Music, nine distinguished CMS artists made their China debut with two concerts at Beijing’s Zhongshan Park Concert Hall, accompanied by a series of educational programs—including lectures, master classes, and composer talks—promoting the art of chamber music in China.
