Waves of Tomorrow – Central Conservatory of Music Graduation Concert Series
Young Artist Program

Ride the Tide,
Embrace the Future.
Origins and Vision
Waves of Tomorrow is a graduation concert series jointly curated by the Central Conservatory of Music’s Piano Department and MAJOR Performing Arts Group. First launched in 2020 at a time when live performances were suspended worldwide, the project reimagined the graduation recital as a professional stage that reaches beyond the conservatory.
Since its debut, the series has evolved from livestreamed concerts to curated concert seasons, while remaining committed to its mission: to provide outstanding young pianists with a platform to present their artistry, engage with audiences, and take confident steps toward their professional futures. With its flexible format and international outlook, Waves of Tomorrow continues to explore new ways of connecting emerging musicians with the wider world.

The 2023 edition marked a transition from digital resilience to live renewal. Set within an intimate salon environment, the season provided graduates with valuable professional experience, fostered direct dialogue with audiences, and built a vital bridge between the conservatory and the concert market.
