Prelude to Brilliance - Major Young Artist Project
Young Artist Program

Meet Tomorrow’s Stars · Preview Their Challenges · Envision the Journey
Overview
Prelude to Brilliance is a concert series under the MAJOR Young Artist Program, initiated by MAJOR Performing and Arts Group and internationally acclaimed violinist Siqing Lu. This series focuses on outstanding young musicians actively preparing for and participating in major national and international competitions. By offering pre-competition showcases, post-competition reflections, and curated recital opportunities, the series serves as both a ceremonial send-off and a reflective homecoming — giving artists a professional platform to fine-tune their repertoire, gain valuable stage experience, and share their journeys with audiences.
Through this series, the public is invited to meet tomorrow’s classical music stars at the starting line of their artistic journeys; preview their competition repertoire and interpretive direction, gaining an early glimpse into their evolving artistry; and envision their limitless potential and future, walking alongside them at the threshold of brilliance.
For young musicians, Prelude to Brilliance is more than just a stage — it is a space for practice, polish, and connection. It strengthens their confidence before stepping into high-stakes competitions and fosters reflection upon return. By bringing together emerging artists and engaged listeners, the series injects new energy into the classical music scene and helps cultivate a more vibrant, supportive artistic ecosystem.
