Born in Shanghai, he began his vocal studies in his native town and graduated with top score at the Toho College of Music in Tokyo (Japan). A winner of several international vocal competitions, including the International Singing Competition “Ferruccio Tagliavini” in Graz, the International Competition for Singers “Toti dal Monte” in Treviso in 2007, the “International Singing Competition of “Festspielstadt Passau ” in Passau, also in 2007 and the International Singing Competition “Maria Caniglia” in Sulmona.

Mr. Zhang is a regular guest artist at the world's leading opera companies, including the Metropolitan Opera, Vienna State Opera, National Opéra Paris-Bastille, Deutsche Opera Berlin, Deutsche Staatsoper Berlin, Bayerische Staatsoper Munich, Hamburgische Staatsoper, Teatro Real Madrid, National Opéra de Lyon, Teatro Comunale di Firenze,Washington Opera, Dallas Opera, Seattle Opera, New York City Opera, and many more. Where he sung over forty-five leading tenor roles.

Guanqun Yu is one of the most promising sopranos of the younger generation and appears regularly at big opera houses worldwide.Born and educated in China, Yu already sang big roles as Pamina (Die Zauberflöte) and Gilda (Rigoletto) as part of the opera education programme during her studies in Shandong and Shanghai and participated in concerts at important events. She finally became known outside of China by winning the first price at the famous Belvedere Singing Competition.

Chinese baritone ZhengZhong Zhou was a member of the Jette Parker Young Artists Programme 2010–12, singing such roles as Marullo (Rigoletto), Paris (Roméo et Juliette), Sciarrone (Tosca), Prince Yamadori (Madama Butterfly), Valentin (Faust), Gelsomino and Zefirino (Il viaggio a Reims, Jette Parker Young Artists Anniversary Concert) and Des Grieux (Le Portrait de Manon, Meet the Young Artists Week 2011, recorded for Opera Rara). He created the role of Runner in the world premiere of Anna Nicole. In the 2016/17 Season he returns to sing Ping (Turandot).
